From the APRIM

Year Two have been unpacking our School Values and what they mean to them. Their art work and explanations are touching and sometimes entertaining. This is Sabrina’s work on Inclusivity: “Love Love Love. The world picture is including family and friends. The home picture is showing living. The cloud picture is showing friendship. Inclusivity. Love Love Love.”

Keep supporting the Project Compassion stalls and the boxes you have at home. Each day we are treated to slime, bookmarks, bath bombs, crafts, real lemonade and many, many delicious treats, with our stall holders demonstrating their business acumen and entrepreneurial skills. In our first week we have raised several hundred dollars.  Thank you.

International Women's Day and Parenting Ideas Blog

Last Friday was International Women’s Day, with the theme #BalanceForBetter! It is a global day that calls us all into action to accelerate a worldwide gender parity. A balanced world is a better world. In light of this, one of the parenting blogs on Michael Grose’s website titled, Mothering Your Daughter, is an insightful article written about mother’s roles in their daughter’s lives. The article is written by Sharon Witt and looks at themes such as mothers knowing their impact, being okay to say no, expanding their daughter’s definition of beauty, helping her find her passion and guiding her to be confident just to name a few. A really interesting read – you can find the link at parentingideas.com.au
