SACPSSA Netball Carnival

This week 140 students from Yr 4 – 7, attended the Catholic Schools netball carnival which was held at Priceline Stadium (Netball SA), Railway Tce.  Students reported back that it was a great day and most teams won most of if not all games.  I don’t know who was more competitive the students or the coaches.  Thank you to all parents, siblings and St Michael’s students who came along to act as coaches and umpires.  Your support was greatly appreciated.

Lightning Carnival

On the weekend the SOS Football Teams took part in the Lightning Carnival.  The Yr 6/7's won two and lost two, while both Yr 4/5 teams each won 3 and lost 1.  The Yr 4/5's had the opportunity to have a show down and this time  it was the Gold team who came out the winners however it was the Blue team who on percentage count back got into the finals and end up being the winners of the Yr 4/5 Lightning Carnival.  Well done to all Students, Coaches and Team Managers on your efforts at the carnival.
