General Reminders

At this time of year we all become a little tired and complacent and so we become less attentive to school policies and rules. This week I have had to speak with a number of students who choose not to wear their correct uniform to school. The school’s sports uniform is only to be worn on days when the children have sport’s lesson or days designated by the teacher. Some of our older students are taking advantage and wearing their sports uniform on most days at school. Pink uniform slips will be sent home for not wearing the uniform, for not having a hat and for wearing incorrect sand shoes. (They should be predominantly white).

Excess Furniture - Please Take It Away - Next Monday

As a result of the refurbished Marine Discovery Centre we have some furniture that is no longer needed. Next Monday we will be putting out some of our excess furniture - still quite usable, but not in keeping with the new furnishing of the MDC. These items will be free.

If you would like to take some of these items you will find them in the MDC car park on Monday. We would be very pleased to see them go to a good home, shed or shack.

As we head into Week 5 of the term there is still much to be done. On behalf of the staff I thank you for your continued support of the school. I look forward to catching up with you at the various school events in the weeks ahead!

Enjoy the weekend ahead.
