From the Acting Principal

Before School Duty

I remind all of our parents and friends that supervised duty begins in the court yard at 8:20 am. I urge all students to be in the courtyard under the supervision of the teacher on yard duty and unless they are directly supervised by an adult students should not gather in the convent courtyard or other places around our school. This is an important part of our duty of care to our children.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

I would like to offer our prayers for our students who are taking part in their preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation this term. I also say a huge thank you to our group leaders and parents who are supporting their children on this fantastic sacramental journey.

School is in for Summer

Please put 22 February in your diary as the date for this awesome parent night. Please see the separate flyer in the newsletter for details regarding what promises to be a sensational night and opportunity to meet new and existing parents.

Donuts and Sausage Sizzle for Recess and Lunch

On 26 February students will have the opportunity to purchase a donut for recess and a sausage sizzle for lunch from the school canteen. Please make use of the QKR app to place your order. I urged all parents to check  they have a receipt from the transaction to confirm that the order has gone through. Please ensure you have ordered before the cut-off date to avoid disappointment.

Carnevale

On 28 February we will celebrate the Carnevale festival at 9 am on the school courts. This year students are being encouraged to make a mask at home and we will parade in and around the courts on the day. I would like to thank Signora Andrews for her work in organising this special day.

Appreciate what you have, where you are and who you are with in this moment. Tony Clark

Thanks and Blessings
